Returning to education as an adult can be daunting

What not to do

Cramming for an exam or trying to learn a large amount of information in a brief period of time, is generally not an effective or efficient study strategy. You are far more likely to forget the information shortly after the exam. So don’t do it!

Don’t stay up all night. Late night study sessions usually lead to sleep deprivation. Lack of sleep can impair your cognitive function, memory and overall performance.

A tired brain is a foggy brain, so stick to your study plan.

Don’t be afraid to ask for help. Many people hesitate to ask for help because they fear it may make them appear incompetent or weak. However, asking for help can be beneficial for several reasons.

It can provide clarity and a better understanding of the material being learned. Additionally, seeking guidance ensures that your work meets the required exam quality standards.

Asking for help demonstrates a proactive approach to improving your performance, and trainers often appreciate this initiative as it shows a genuine desire to succeed.

Choosing a training provider

As mentioned before, returning to education as an adult can be daunting. Choosing the right training provider is a crucial decision that can greatly impact your learning experience and overall success.

It is important to consider factors such as reputation, expertise, and the quality of the training materials and resources offered.

A reputable training provider should have a track record of delivering high-quality courses and producing successful candidates.

Considering the flexibility of the training options, can also be important for individuals with specific scheduling needs.
